Contract / Temporary to Hire

$19.00 – $22.00 / Hourly

Description

A behavioral health organization is seeking an Insurance Coordinator on a contract to hire basis for their growing team. The Insurance Coordinator will be the point of contact for insurance companies, medical providers, and patients.

Responsibilities will include reviewing benefits with patients, processing and submitting insurance claims, updating patient files, and following up on outstanding claims to submit for payment.

This role is 100% remote, just need to have good internet access and be tech savvy!

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience
  • Organized
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical insurances, healthcare policies and benefits
  • At least 2+ years of previous experience securing prior authorizations in a healthcare setting.
