How You’ll Make an Impact:

In this role as a Chargeback Specialist you will protect our company’s rapid growth by defending our brand against consumer fraud. Working with our chargeback team together you will work to prevent and win chargebacks.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide tailored responses that match the merchant’s expectations and demonstrate a sense of urgency for their request.
  • Builds strong rapport with merchants by utilizing interpersonal skills, asking clarifying questions and anticipating needs.
  • Document all case interactions in the appropriate databases by recording highly detailed and relevant notes for each account.
  • Process, review, and manage multiple queues to support an individual caseload
  • Conduct analysis and process dispute claims in accordance with network operating regulations and internal service level time-frames
  • Monitor, evaluate and respond to charge-back claims while reviewing transaction information and charge-backs filed with various merchants and processors
  • Notifies manager of trends or concerns
  • Looks for opportunities to optimize processes, increase win rates
  • Participate in ongoing coaching and feedback to support the development of new skills, recognition of achievement, and suggestions for performance improvement.
  • This is a part time, remote work at home opportunity.

Key experience that drives success in this role:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with disputes, collections, or fraud required; financial industry experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to independently handle a variety of responsibilities simultaneously and be able to prioritize those tasks
  • Knowledge of Visa/MasterCard/Amex Operating Regulations Preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • High energy professional who will demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for company mission.
  • A quiet, private place in your home where you can work without background noise
