Revenue Accounting Manager at Puppet

’m looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager to join our team to lead our revenue team through our next stage of growth. This position is essential to not only our revenue recognition compliance under ASC 606, but also leading activities upstream, including billing and partnering with the revenue operations and sales departments. An outstanding Revenue Accounting Manager has exceptional people skills and has strong leadership experience motivating teams to perform at a high level.

  • Guide, nurture, and develop an extraordinary team of 3 revenue accounting and operational professionals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams  to help streamline operational processes from quote to cash

Valuable experiences and skills you’ll bring to Puppet 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Deep knowledge of ASC 606
  • Proven experience in leadership, coaching and mentoring staff
  • Reviewing customer contracts for revenue recognition implications
  • Calculating and maintaining Stand-alone Selling Price (SSP)
  • Drafting technical accounting memos and documentation

Bonus, but not required (shout about it in your application if you have experience):

  • Public accounting experience
  • CPA
