Wrench – Customer Service Representative – 100% Remote



Wrench, Inc. is the fastest growing mobile mechanic service around and has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative to join our Revenue Team. We service an impressive variety of cars and trucks, offering everything from oil changes and preventive maintenance to brake jobs and no-starts. Our ASE-certified mobile mechanics can perform most jobs right in a client’s driveway or in their office’s parking lot, freeing them up to spend their time as they wish. We are currently in major markets in Washington, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and are continuing to expand. What You’ll Do at Wrench

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for helping customers book jobs, maintain or exceed stated revenue goals, and improve our customer’s experience every step of the way.


  • Support customers via phone and email channels
  • Educate customers about our service and process
  • Build quotes for automotive repair
  • Schedule jobs and assign mechanics
  • Source and order replacement parts
  • Provide technical support to customers for our website and app
  • Maintain strong customer advocacy, even in complex situations


  • $12/hr or state minimum, whichever is higher
  • Two weeks paid vacation a year

  • A minimum of two years of experience in customer support and/or contact center operation
  • A minimum of one year working in the automotive industry or strong demonstrated automotive knowledge
  • Comfortable with soft sales and meeting revenue goals
  • Well-spoken and articulate
  • Resilient and comfortable handling complex tasks with minimal supervision
  • Visionary and excited to develop the Wrench process
  • Tech-savvy and passionate about learning new skills
  • Availability to work some evening hours and both weekend days
  • Wired internet connection of 10 Mbps or better (screenshot of speed test will be required)
  • A quiet, distraction-free work area with a door. Areas with the background noise of any kind are not permitted

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with chat support
  • Strong desire to work in a startup environment
